throughout the academic year, as well as fairs geared toward
specific industries. Career fairs are an excellent recruiting
opportunity, as they expose you to a wide variety of students,
providing additional visibility for your organization.

Participating
in Events
We invite you to share your expertise with students at career-focused
events on campus. In addition to communicating information
about skills needed in the workplace and different career paths,
participating in an event or workshop helps build your organization’s
brand on the Washington University campus and allows you to
interact with students directly.
The Career Center would value your help and expertise in the
following areas:
- Mock Interviews
- Lunch With a Pro Series
Our Lunch With a Pro events are small group discussions
held during the lunch hour, where you can share your professional
experience and advice for students interested in your career
path.
- Panel Events
Our panel events help students learn about the variety of
career opportunities in a specific industry.
- Cheap Lunch
Cheap Lunch is a unique event hosted by a student group
in the School of Engineering. One employer per week has
access to a few hundred students and faculty members as
they each lunch. This is a great way to connect with Engineering
students and faculty.
Please contact the employer relations team for more information
about participating in any of these events.
