Internship Success and Stipend Class
The Internship Success and Stipend Class will help prepare you for a summer internship or research experience. The eight-week, non-credit class will cover self-assessment, the internship search process, impression management, professional communication, interviewing, sectors and business functions of organizations, and becoming a young professional. Participation in the Internship Stipend Class is one of the criteria that we will use to award Career Center Summer Stipends. Classes are available in the fall and spring semesters. Interview Travel Stipend: OPEN
Thanks to a generous donation by a Washington University parent, an Interview Travel Stipend is available to help defray some of the costs of traveling to an interview. The stipend is available to current, full-time Washington University students. Alumni who have graduated in the past six months may also apply.
The stipend applies toward covering the travel costs for students seeking internships, co-ops or full-time positions. Click here for more information.

to pursue a summer internship. To make unpaid internships financially
viable for students, the Career Center will provide a limited

Students interested in exploring career options
in the nonprofit sector are encouraged to pursue a summer internship.
To make unpaid internships financially viable for students,
the Losos Internship Program provides stipends to qualified students. To qualify, students must secure an internship
with a nonprofit organization located in St. Louis. In addition,

Raymond
Wiese Stipends:

To make unpaid internships financially viable for students, the Raymond Wiese Internship Program will provide stipends to qualified Arts & Sciences students. This stipend usually supports internships in nonprofits and chemistry/biotechnology organizations located in St. Louis. Applications are accepted through CAREERlink. Gephardt Institute Summer Service Stipend Program:
Applications accepted January 1, 2009
The Gephardt Institute Summer Service Stipend Program supports undergraduate and graduate students who undertake uncompensated internships or volunteer placements that are oriented toward community service, political action, and social justice. The service experience—which the student must arrange—may be with a government office (federal, state, or local) or with a nonprofit organization. Applications are accepted through CAREERlink.
