Ahmar Ursani received the New Professional Award, which recognizes an individual in Student Affairs who is new to the field and is a standout with new ideas and initiatives to enhance the student learning environment. “I was incredibly honored to receive this year’s New Professional Award” said Ursani. “The joy and profound moments that I and other career coaches share with our students inspire me every day! I am so grateful to have an inclusive team that supports our creativity and encourages us to be innovative. Go team!” Ursani, who is an assistant director for Career Development as part of the Government, Policy, and Social Impact Career Community, has worked at WashU since 2021.
