Affinity/Identity Group Career Resources

The Center for Career Engagement recognizes the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. We developed career resource pages to connect with and celebrate students’ unique identities and experiences. The links and resources will empower students who face additional obstacles when approaching processes related to exploring different careers, searching for internships/jobs, and applying to advanced-degree programs. Click on the group pages below to learn more!

“Individually, we hold such a vast array of expertise, and collectively, we can truly make an impact to level the playing field and empower underrepresented students to be at their best. All people deserve a chance to represent their most authentic selves at work.”

Career Coaching Affinity Group Goals

Our coaches are organized into affinity groups with these goals:

  • Curate career content, resources, and programming that acknowledge and respect all aspects of students’ identities
  • Build upon name and story, allowing us to help students navigate their career journeys with an affinity lens
  • Train our coaching team and encourage holistic coaching that creates a space that makes students more comfortable engaging with our office
